Finite Element Analysis

Calculating the stresses and strains

To simulate the way a structure reacts to realworld forces such as physical loads, vibration, thermal stress and other effects the Dream Team use a simulation method based on numerical methods known as Finite Element Analysis. It allows us to test structures under various conditions without first having to build a prototype, and helps us validate that the design of your dream is strong and robust enough to withstand practical use without deformation or failure.

For many physical systems it is generally not possible to solve problems relating to structural analysis, heat transfer, fluid dynamics amongst others by using analytical mathematics. Solutions to problems require the use of ordinary or partial differental equations. For complex structures and geometries using this method may not be possible. Numerical methods can provide approximate solutions to these problems which are precise enough to be used in the engneering context. Computers are good at crunching the numbers using numerical methods. Our Dream team use advanced computer simulations to optimally design your dream.
